Construction
Holiday have a long association with Colson & Colson in the US and they have built all three UK facilities including the newly completed building in Braintree. Their association with our founder company in the US brings a wealth of experience to building the quality developments for which we have become known.
Colson & Colson UK are the construction arm within the Holiday Group of Companies. They specialise in timber frame construction, and are one of the market leaders in building sustainable timber frame buildings. Colson & Colson work alongside a number of sub contractors many of whom are locally based to the project area.
Our current construction project is The Gardens at our site in Bedfordwell Road, Eastbourne adjacent to The Hawthorns. We are building a retirement Hamlet of 10 bungalows and 4 maisonettes. Work has commenced and the foundations are now completed and the next stage of construction has begun with the brick work.
The build includes sustainable wooden framing which will utilise timber sourced locally. The design includes a modern, open plan, living space - a contemporary twist on the standard bungalow concept. The Hawthorns, Eastbourne have a full copy of the plans and reservations are now being made.
The building is on schedule for completion during Spring 2010.
