Key Criteria

The key criteria are:

  • The size of the site should be 1.5 to 4 acres (developable). We can consider partnerships with developers on larger sites.
  • The site should have high local visibility and preferably be on, or visible from, a main or busy road.
  • Should be in or reasonably close to affluent built-up areas with good transport and communication links.
  • Close proximity to shops is not essential, but community social amenities must be reasonably accessible.
  • Target sites include land uses such as residential, hotels, nursing homes, public service buildings (such as schools or hospitals) or land designated for employment use.

At present, Holiday will only progress sites for new-build development. Due to the unique design of the end facility, it is highly unlikely that an existing building will suit our criteria. Conversion and refurbishment projects will therefore not be considered.
